Just what is pleasure and how can one experience it? Encyclopedias define the feeling of pleasure as a mental state that humans and even animals experience as positive, enjoyable, or worth seeking. It includes more specific mental states such as happiness, entertainment, enjoyment, ecstasy, and euphoria.

As people, we all have varying levels and causes of experiencing pleasure and in recent studies, there is one distinct form of pleasure that has only emerged and is continually evolving today are pleasures derived from using gadget. This has even evolved to creating new psychological terms because addiction to the pleasures being derived from using different gadgets of today has created different social behaviors. From kids losing their communication with their parents to husbands spending more time holding their tablet PC than their wife and child, the mental and emotional impacts of the positive and negative effects of this newly emerging source of pleasure in the modern world is yet to be revealed.

In recent surveys conducted but concerned Internet professionals, people who are working on their computers who at the same time have their social networking website open loses at least 35% of their productivity.
